We are always enamored with the intense expression and ageability of Golden Cluster’s wines. This package is a perfect complement to any dinner table during the holidays. Ode to Chuck Semillon is rich and textured and beautifully encapsulates the variety with notes of spiced orchard fruit, honey, ginger, and lemon, with a very long finish. Savagnin rose is a non-aromatic clone of Gewurztraminer and is the first ever varietal wine made in the USA from this rare and ancient grape; it is history in a bottle! This is a white wine that is showing exceptionally well. Enjoy both wines with a variety of proteins, spices, winter squash, rich & nutty cow cheese like comté, and decadent cream forward dishes.

Golden Cluster was founded by Jeff Vehrs in 2013. Prior to this, he took his passion of old vines and the art of blending wines and worked with a new producer of old vines each vintage. This passion carries over to Golden Cluster, where he sources the majority of the grapes from the famous Charles Coury Vineyard (now known as David Hill Vineyard). This vineyard was planted in 1966 to an impressive selection of wine grapes; making it his mission to explore these lesser known wine grapes from this historic vineyard and showcase them on their own.
