Brutto Nobile or the “Ugly Noble” is Syrah from the Rocks District of Milton-Freewater AVA. The Rocks District sits just below the Washington border in the Walla Walla AVA. Don't be fooled by the opaque liquid as this Syrah boasts rich dark fruits of plums and blackberry, dusty earth, a melange of spices, and supple tannins.

Buona Notte is truly a family affair. Graham Markel is the man behind the wine, who got his start in the kitchen in Boulder, CO before moving on to bartending. He spent several years in the Willamette Valley, working under Maggie Harrison at Antica Terra and then Hiyu Wine Farm in the Columbia Gorge. He works intimately in the fields of the Columbia Gorge and with minimal intervention in the cellar. His wines are terroir driven, wild, and absolutely delightful to drink.
