The grapes come from a steeply sloped Hillside Vineyard on the backside of the Dalles, Oregon. The terroir provides a dusty, herbal quality, surrounded by notes of red and black fruit and a delightful green peppercorn finish.

Buona Notte is truly a family affair. Graham Markel is the man behind the wine, who got his start in the kitchen in Boulder, CO before moving on to bartending. He spent several years in the Willamette Valley, working under Maggie Harrison at Antica Terra and then Hiyu Wine Farm in the Columbia Gorge. He works intimately in the fields of the Columbia Gorge and with minimal intervention in the cellar. His wines are terroir driven, wild, and absolutely delightful to drink.
