Apricot blossoms, pear skin, wild flowers, ash, on a savory, super juicy palate. There's a lovely grip holding in the sides, guiding this to a gently spiced finish.

Vignoble du Rêveur (Vineyard of the Dreamer) is the biodynamic wine project from Matthieu Deiss, the revered Alsatian producer. This skin contact comes from 40-year-old vines planted in alluvial soil in the commune of Bennwihr. The vineyard is cultivated organically and biodynamically. The Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris grapes are macerated for 10 days, and the vinification takes place in stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts. It takes a year to mature this wine on lees.
