2017 Château Sainte Anne Bandol Rouge
In-store only
Our café and market have gotten quite busy this season, so we've had to disable online pre-ordering for the time being.
Not to worry, though— our entire inventory is still available in-store. We look forward to seeing your beautiful faces!
Very nice nose of dried flowers, touches of prunes, blond tobacco. Dense but supple on the palate thanks to fine and elegant tannins.
Château Sainte Anne is a family-run estate located in the Bandol appellation, in the heart of Provence. The vineyard benefits from a complex soil composition (dry limestone mixed with white sand allowing very deep drainage) and a specific micro-climate with cool nights allowing the local variety, Mourvedre, to reach perfect ripeness. This is a blend of 60% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache Noir and 20% Cinsault from vines farmed organically, facing southeast and planted on clay-limestone terraces with silica in the subsoil.
