For 2 years Grégorie Hoppenot managed the Trénel Fils house (Chapoutier Group). After a year spent with the master of Gamay, Pierre Marie Chermette, he produced his first vintage. His farming is certified organic and his methods in the cellar aim for maximum transparency. ‘Clos de l’Amandier’ is a monopole on a ridgetop in Fleurie, boasting some of the village’s best vineyard sites.
