100% Cabernet Franc grown organically on the eastern edge of the Chinon region in the Loire Valley. The wine exhibits gorgeous dark fruit, black pepper, and full structured tannins.

The Desbourdes family has been farming the estate since 1965, originally as a polycultural farm with animals and grains in addition to grapes. Vines average 30 years old and are hand harvested from hillside vineyards supported by gravelly sand and limestone soils. Native yeast fermentation is utilized in the cellar. The result is a wine that is at the forefront of a modern approach to classic Chinon.
