Michael Garofola of Cutter Cascadia works intimately with all his vineyard sites, allowing him to learn and grow with each vintage, crafting site-specific wines. From mature, own rooted Zinfandel planted in 1983 in the Dalles, Oregon. The grapes were picked on October 10th 2019 with whole cluster semi-carbonic maceration, followed by 9 months in old neutral barrel before being transferred to slightly newer barrels, where it remained for another 8 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
